Josh Wurzer Founder of Steep Hills Labs in Santa Cruz, California (2010)
Josh Wurzer (Director of SC Labs) regularly teams up with the Dr. Bonni Goldstein MD (Cannabis Researcher for Pediatric Care and Director of Canna-Centers) for a series of Weedmaps.tv videos examining the various functions of cannabinoids found in both marijuana and hemp plants.
Josh's main forte is in the field of synthetic and analytical chemistry. Before founding SC Labs, Josh worked for Samsung studying and developing new materials for use in electronic circuitry. Following this, Josh worked in pharmaceutical drug research chemistry. Currently, Josh spends a larger portion of his days establishing new facilities and developing new cannabis technologies along with his direct activism inside the political sector effecting common sense cannabis reform and regulation. Early in the cannabis movement, Josh was a sound voice of education and reason for medical cannabis amid a rife uncertain political climate frought with unlawful cannabis raids and confiscations. SC Labs has grown steadily into an important medium-sized, no frills, much needed cannabis research facility currently boasting over 60 employees.
Dr. Bonni Goldstein works closely in her pediatric practice with severe cases of chronically ill children inflicted with epilepsy, cancer, autism and mental disorders. Dr. Goldstein has a beautiful heart and soul. She focuses on nurturing the most critically ill children and survivors of traditional medical treatments with closely monitored medical cannabis therapy. Front and center, Dr. Goldstein MD leads the charge in this new area of pediatric plant-based cannabis medicine. Bonni supports families psychologically, medically and emotionally, as she trains parents on the proper way to dose and administer CBD, cannabidiol oil to her young patients.
According to Bonni, cannabis therapy has worked for very critical childhood diseases transforming devastating symptoms into more manageable functional livelihoods for afflicted children with great success. Dr. Goldstein has seen much progress over the years. Childhood seizures come under control. Autism is arrested. Mute children begin to speak. Tumors shrink. And the amazing attributes of cannabis has changed lives where hope never existed beforehand. Dr. Goldstein is one of the first to test and chronicle the impact of pediatric medical cannabis on desperate children when all previous methods of drugs or therapy have yet to fail.
Both Dr. Bonni Goldstein and Josh Werner are frequent featured speakers on the medical marijuana conference tour circuit, as well as, participants in lectures for the popular and informative non-profit cannabis education website ProjectCBD.org/. [3] [4] [5]
